Video Launch of Gandhi’s Glasses
The Gandhi Way is a collaborative project led by World Literacy Canada, in partnership with the TDSB’s Model Schools for Inner Cities. Funded by the Canadian International Development Agency, the project aims to teach social justice, equality, and global citizenship through storytelling and art – all through the eyes of Mahatma Gandhi. Big Day Out is a day camp for children aged 8-13, in the Jane & Finch neighbourhood of Toronto. Running for three, two-week sessions, it provides kids with daily excursions to fun and educational places, and provides opportunity for youth training and employment.
