Book Sales and Festivals

World Literacy of Canada’s annual Book Sales, inaugurated in 1984, are one of our main sources of fundraising.

Through participation in festivals throughout the city we seek to foster a love of books within the Toronto community. 

Each year, thousands of new books are donated by local Canadian publishers and sold at significantly discounted prices to book-lovers and supporters of World Literacy of Canada, including families on tight budgets and local teachers seeking affordable resources for their classroom.
