“Alien Friendship”

Matt slowly walked towards the small village, more scared than ever. He could feel his heart pounding as a shimmering pond came into view. Sitting around it was a circle of strange creatures. They all looked the same, with a deep green skin, one eye, and no hair or clothes. Matt immediately knew what the mysterious creatures were: aliens. He blinked once, then he blinked again, but it was not a dream. His trembling foot snapped a twig, and the aliens diverted their eyes to Matt.

“Stay calm,” said Matt to himself. The chief alien stood up from the circle and looked curiously at Matt’s hair, clothes, and his two eyes.

“You’re different,” laughed the chief. The other aliens whispered to each other and also laughed. Matt could feel tears dripping down his face. Desperately, he explained his dilemma to them and asked for help. The aliens laughed again. The moon was out now, and the tired aliens went into their small huts and closed the doors. Feeling scared, isolated, lonely, and without any food or water, Matt dropped to the ground and went to sleep.

Matt woke up the next day to the sounds of piercing screams. The village was being attacked by giant, vicious, flying creatures! The aliens were panicking, scrambling around like a herd of lost sheep. Even thought the aliens had mistreated Matt yesterday, he felt bad for them. Thinking fast, he ripped off a tree branch, lit it with his pocket lighter, and began lunging at the flying creatures with the fiery branch. The scared creatures flew off. The aliens cheered and thanked Matt for his help.

“Even though we look different than you, you still accepted and helped us,” said the chief. “We will help you.”

So, the aliens got to work, and soon, Matt’s airship was fixed. As the airship blasted off, Matt waved goodbye to his new friends. This was an adventure he would never forget.
