Eyes on India 2012 Benefit Screening featured Ganesh, Boy Wonder, by acclaimed feature director Srinivas Krishna. It follows the riveting journey of a poor Indian family after their son, whose facial deformity makes him resemble the elephant-headed god Ganesh, and becomes a media sensation. Proceeds from ticket sales fund our education projects in India.

This year, WLC also hosted a free screening of Taare Zameen Par, by Bollywood sensation Amir Khan. It follows an eight year old boy who is thought to be lazy and a troublemaker, until a new art teacher has the patience and compassion to discover the real problem behind his struggles in school.
