Courtney Hay's Story
"Space Friend"
He jumped back into the ship and grabbed a rope. He attached the rope to the handle of the door. He got back to the ship and started lugging his ship to the far off village. Which he soon found out, that it was not that far away. It was only about a five minute walk.
“Hello” shouted a little blue creature who seemed to look a lot like an aline. “H-h-h-hi” Matt stuttered. He was a little shocked about how friendly he or she was. Nothing like in the movies, where the make believe creatures would attack you.
Maybe this was a plan, he thought. Maybe it wanted to bring him to his lair and eat him.
He stared to run as fast as he could (which was not too fast considering he had a space ship on his back.) He ran about 20 metres.
He sat down and looked around. But there was nothing really to look at. “What was that?” said the blue alien. Matt jumped up, but then he replied, “Oh just a little exercise” and sat back down.
Matt was curious about him. He was not quite an alien, he had blond hair and it had sparkles in his hair. And blue skin, but the skin looked darker then before. Maybe it’s just the sun. He was kind of weird. But if he wanted his ship fixed he would just have to accept that he was a little different.
“Hey look, my ship is broken and I need some help to fix it and get back to earth.” “Oh why didn’t you say so?” “Come on let’s go to my house.” They waited for awhile. Matt felt like banging his head off the ship. All he could hear was the alien singing a song that went like this “I know a song that gets on everybody’s nerves, everybody’s nerves, everybody’s nerves. I know a song that gets everybody’s nerves and this is how it goes.”
They finally reaches his house. It was a little hole in the ground. He went in and came out with a whole bunch of tools. It took less than five minutes and it was done. The space ship was fixed.
“Hey, I never got your name.” said Matt. “Oh it’s Moucho.” “You?” “Matt” “Hey you’re a little weird Matt but I like you” “Hey same” said Matt.
He hopped into his space ship and drove away singing the song the gets on everybody’s nerves. While having learned the lesson, it’s okay to be a little different. In fact, it’s what makes the world go around.
