Ellen Liu's Story

He looked around, the planet was bare and gray. He headed towards the village, when he got there he saw the aliens (who surprisingly spoke English) had green eyes and three legs with gills all over them. He explained to the leader named Nushcuss about his circumstances. He asked if he could stay for a while. Nushcuss politely explained that they were running out of food and couldn’t spare anymore. But Matt looked so desperate so Nushcuss allowed him to stay for there days. Unfortunately, Matt needed three weeks. So Matt begged and finally, Nushcuss allowed him to stay for three more days. But the aliens weren’t used to visitors “Who said that we had to feed him?” Nushcuss explained that once Matt fixed his airship, he would leave. One day, some aliens made fun of Matt. They’re not accepting me, he thought. When Matt’s six days were over, he didn’t leave because there was no where to go. The aliens became crabby and planned to force him away. One day while strolling, he saw ten aliens playing in the water. Suddenly, a huge wave came and swept them away! Matt gasped. One side told him to run away, but the other side told him to go and help them. Finally, Matt made up his mind and rushed forward to scoop them up. The aliens thanked him and ran away. The next day, Nushcuss came and led him to the plaza where all the aliens gathered. Several aliens said, “Thank you for saving us. We’re sorry that we treated you badly. You’re welcome to stay as long as you need.” Matt smiled, “Thank you.” Soon, his airship was fixed. “We’re gonna miss you. Goodbye!” “Bye!” Then he started the engine and blasted off into space.
