Ganga Mahal Building
The Ganga Mahal – a modest historic building set on the edge of the Ganges – is an ideal base for WLC’s projects in India and Nepal.
Much more than just an office, the Ganga Mahal also serves as a year-round staff training centre for WLC and its partners, and hosts WLC’s Annual Partners Meeting. Since 1998, the building has been home to WLC staff and the annual group of youth volunteers from Canada.
This calm and clean space in the midst of the bustling ancient city has made WLC a well-known member of the local Assi Ghat community, and has welcomed countless local Varanasi residents wishing to learn more about WLC as well as our supporters when they visit India.
