"Htrae"

Suddenly Matt saw something leaking. It was the fuel! “Oh no! What am I going to do now?” He started running down the hill to the village. Ever since the accidental space launching, nothing was going right. “Maybe pressing the big, red button in the airship going to space was a bad idea. It was so very tempting though”, thought Matt. Now, regretting what he did, Matt saw someone or something in the clearing. He started walking to the vile creature hoping it wouldn’t eat him. “Where am I?”, asked Matt trying not to sound worried. The thing turned around.

“AAAHHHHH!” screamed Matt. The creature jumped back and started to make karate sounds. Matt inspected the creature. It had green skin, 2 teeth and 1 eye like a Cyclopes. Matt realized he wasn’t on Earth anymore.

Once the thing realized Matt wasn’t going to hurt him, he sarcastically said, “This is Htrae”. Matt thought about that for a moment. “Hmm, Earth backwards in Htrae. “Oh no! I’m in a parallel universe,” screamed Matt.

“What the flipity are you talking about alien?” asked the thing. Matt was surprised that the alien could speak. He told the alien he was a human not an alien.

“Haha, I’m a human doopy,” laughed the thing. And for your info, my name is Bolgy.

Matt could see they didn’t get along. “Do you know where to get fuel for my airship?” asked Matt rolling his eyes. Bolgy told him that the alien wizard Jim sold the only fuel they have on the planet.

“If Jim is an alien, then he’s just like me, right Blgy?” asked Matt with a little big of hope.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, but Wizard Jim is the smartest alien my people have ever known. How could I ever think that you came from the same race as him?” replied Bolgy.

“Was that an insult?” asked Matt confused.

Exactly my point, murmured Bolgy.

Matt asked Bolgy to take him there.

“I’m breathing air right now so I don’t have anything better to do”, answered Bolgy. They went on a long journey through the Wet desert, and down the Slidey River. They finally made it to the wizards hut. The hut was big, and the outside was full of stars. It was the prettiest hut ever built! Luckily, Wizard Jim was a human just like Matt. Bolgy was shocked when Jim gave Matt a discount on fuel. Matt said thank you and paid the price of 1 cent for the fuel.
