Tulsi Kunj Building

Due to the expansion of our programming, WLC took possession in September 2006 of a second building in Varanasi, just around the corner from the Ganga Mahal.

The Tulsi Kunj is a beautiful white, sunlit building with marble floors, a small garden, and space for children to play. It houses our Tulsi Kunj Tutorial Program for more than 100 children aged 3 to 18 from the Assi Ghat neighbourhood; our permanent public community library – the only one of its kind in Varanasi – that specializes in children’s books and toys; a boutique showcasing items from our sewing classes; and soon a beauty salon training centre.
