Write/Right to Read is a national bilingual writing contest creating global citizens in grades 4 – 6.
This year's contest theme is inspired by Arthur Slade’s riveting secret agent series, The Hunchback Assignments. Final judging to be done by the author himself!
Write an original story (300 words or less) answering the following question:
Imagine you are a rookie secret agent with a special superpower. All of your agency’s cases involve solving global issues. What global issue would you take on as your first case? What would you do to help solve the case and make the world a better place?

Judging Criteria
Please consider that the following criteria will be used during the judging of all entries:
- On target – The writing answers the question that was posed, providing examples of how solving global issues can make the world a better place.
- Organization – The story progresses through an understandable narrative.
- Uniqueness – The writer has taken a unique approach to the topic.
- Descriptive Language – The writer has effectively described sights, sounds, smells, tastes and feelings.
